Where Elegance Meets Tranquility
Back in 2008, we took over this beautiful building on West Georgia Street with a simple idea - create a place where people actually feel at home, just... better.
The Jade Varon Quintho wasn't always what you see today. Honestly, when we first walked through these doors, the place needed a ton of work. But there was something about the bones of this building, y'know? The architecture had character, the location was perfect, and we could already picture what it could become.
We spent nearly two years renovating, making sure every detail reflected what we believed luxury should be - not stuffy or pretentious, but warm, genuine, and totally relaxing. We wanted guests to kick off their shoes and breathe easy.
Acquired the historic building and started dreaming big. Spent months just planning, sketching ideas on napkins during late-night meetings.
Opened our doors with 42 luxury rooms. The first guest? A couple celebrating their 30th anniversary. Still get Christmas cards from them.
Added our full-service spa after guests kept asking for massage recommendations. Figured we should just bring the relaxation in-house.
Launched our fine dining restaurant with Chef Martinez. His seasonal tasting menu became the talk of Vancouver pretty quick.
Continuously updating our approach while keeping what makes us special. Added event planning services and yeah, we've hosted some incredible weddings.
Creating spaces where memories happen naturally
Look, we're not trying to be the biggest or flashiest hotel in Vancouver. That's never been the goal. What we're after is something more personal - we want to be the place people think of when they need to recharge, celebrate something special, or just escape the everyday grind for a bit.
Every detail here has a purpose. From the way light filters through the lobby in the morning to the thread count in your sheets - we've thought about it all because we genuinely care about how you feel when you're here. It's not about showing off, it's about creating comfort that feels almost intuitive.
We believe luxury shouldn't be intimidating. It should feel natural, like slipping into your favorite pair of jeans. Our team knows your name by the second day, remembers how you take your coffee, and actually listens when you mention you're here for something special.
Sustainability matters to us too. We've integrated eco-friendly practices throughout the hotel because honestly, taking care of our guests means taking care of the world they're gonna go back to. It's just common sense when you think about it.
